White Topaz is Shana’s latest obsession. This is the first necklace she made in the series she calls “North.” 

In Cherokee tradition Direction North is "Where the White Haired Ones Sit."  It is the direction we thank our teachers, mentors, elders, guardians, those who have passed on in our lives that walk with us still.  It is the direction of "crystal clear knowledge learned from real and hard living life lessons."

It is a mix of handmade beads, settings, and faceted White Topaz. These are strong pieces. They are spiritual pieces. They are talisman, everyday pieces. They are gorgeous and strong. Enough said.
